"Let's go Dondo!" is a combination of three books, describing the process of the creation from my typeface. The folder includes the main book, two extra brochures (Skizzenbuch, Specimen Book). A poster rounds of the whole project . After a lot of research and rummage through books, I decided to create a font myself. Inside of the books you do not only see every part of my typeface but also the documentation of the process. For a beginner the creation of a type can be quite complex. So being confronted with programming and different excursions, with things you did not plan working on, does not help much. At the beginning you ask yourself:
What kind of font do I want?
What should it look like?
What can help during the process?
I show you while working on my face "Dondo", the problems which came up and the solutions I have found, without making everything complicated.
